The ChamberCard service builds on ChamberSign’s expertise, to provide customers with digital identities that meet the highest requirements for trust assurance, enabling them to transact online with confidence. • A high degree of integrity and identity of certificate holders

  • Expertise in high grade security using smart card technology
  • tScheme accredited service provider (the independent standards body for UK trust service providers)

Electronic Certificates, also called Digital ID's, or Digital Certificates are the electronic counterparts to driving licenses, passports and membership cards. A certificate can be presented electronically to prove your identity or your right to access information or services online. Certificates enable individuals and organisations to secure business and personal transactions across communication networks. ChamberSign Ltd will be supplying electronic certificates under the ChamberCard brand.

Electronic certificates are differentiated by the level of assurance they provide regarding a person's identity. The assurance level depends on how a person's identity is verified during the certification request process.

ChamberSign will issue the highest level of Electronic Certificate. These certificates will give assurance by requiring that applicants appear before a Local Registration Authority (LRA) with specific primary and secondary documentation.

ChamberCard certificates are based on the X.509 standard.
